Antiques at the Holt

Date: Regrettably, we can offer no confirmed dates at present for the next Antiques@... event. We are no longer able to stage our fairs at The Holt hotel, where space and the practicality of hosting an event of this size is no longer possible. We are actively seeking a new venue, and hope to publish details soon.

In the past Antiques@TheHolt was always staged twice a year, over the third weekend in March and the last weekend in November. We hope to be able to adopt a similar schedule with any future fairs we organise. The remainder of this page is unaltered, although the details published here will be subject to change.

Time: Doors open to the public at 9:00 am on Saturday, and 10:00 am on Sunday. The fair closes at 5:00 pm on Saturday, and 4:30 pm on Sunday. There will be half-price entry to the fair during the final hour on each day.

Official Opening: The second fair was officially opened on the Saturday morning by BBC TV's Charlie Ross. Read the Press Release, or find more on our extended page about CharlieRoss@TheHolt. We don't always have "celebrity endorsement", but it's nice when we do!

Entry: There is an entry fee of £2 for adults, with no charge for accompanied children under the age of 16. Re-entry upon presentation of a valid ticket is free, and visitors attending both days will only be charged once. Add your email address to the ticket stub on leaving to enter our Prize Draw. See foot of page for full Terms & Conditions.

Trade Visitors: Trade buyers are welcome from 08:30 on Saturday, and 09:30 on Sunday, upon presentation of a business card. We respectfully ask visiting trade buyers not to request access before these times. There is no premium, and the standard entry charge of £2 applies.

Location: The Holt is situated at the crossroads of the main A4260 Oxford-Banbury road and the B4030 between Bicester (Lower Heyford) and Chipping Norton (Middle Barton). Distances are: Oxford 12.5 miles south, Banbury 10 miles north, Bicester 8 miles east, Chipping Norton 10 miles west. The nearest motorway is the M40, with Junction 10 (Cherwell Valley Services) 8 miles north east and J9 (A34) 9 miles south east.

Terms & Conditions: Standard entry to Antiques@TheHolt is £2 per head. However, re-entry to the fair to anyone returning on the Sunday (having paid for entry on the Saturday) will be free, upon presentation of a valid ticket and a hand-stamp. Each ticket will also permit entry to the Prize Draw, with winners drawn from the 'hat' to receive a variety of items. These will be on display at the Fair. To be eligible, an email address must be added to the ticket stub, or the visitor's ticket handed in to the organisers on leaving inclusive of an email address - required so that winners can be advised of their good fortune.
